Situated in Bakewell in the Peak District National Park, lies the multi-award winning butchers, New Close Farm Shop, which is the shop window for New Close Farm, Over Haddon and stocks all of the produce raised and processed on the family-run farm.

Our butchers shop on Granby Road, Bakewell prides itself on the high quality produce and friendly personal service. If the meat isn't from our own farm then it is bought in the local market and we inform you of where your meat has come from, it matters to you and it matters to us. We really do make all the meat products ourselves, working on the philosophy that, 'If we produce it ourselves, we know it's done properly'.  

The staff in the shop are knowledgable and always willing to help or advise you in anyway they can.

-     We now have the first of our own Gloucster Old Spot PORK CHOPS on sale at the shop!!!

-     This coming weekend (28th April) is Bakewell food festival, theres loads of different stalls as well as Bakewell farmers market. We will have samples of sausage and black pudding etc in the shop and we are also selling our famous Hot Roast Pork sandwiches outside the tourist information center near natwest!! see you there for your lunch!!

-     BREAKING NEWS......One of our Gloucester Old Spot gilts has just had a litter of 9 piglets, which join the other 4 existing litters. Also we now have 5 Dexter calves and still counting!! Bring on spring!!
